MURIDA-FATORDA: Chandor Club got the better of Curtorim Gymkhana 2-0 to move into the quarter finals of the Bro Eulalio Vas Memorial football tournament, at DBO ground, Murida-Fatorda, on Thursday.
Chandor’s Richard D’Sa was in the thick of action with his dribbling, accurate passes and shooting power.
Chandor Club dominated both the halves with Melvin Carvalho netting the first goal with a placement shot in the tenth minute off Richard D’Sa’s assist.
Curtorim’s Manuel Casthana shot wide in the 20th minute. As the match progressed, in the second half Richard D’Sa’s solo effort earned the second goal by netting 2-0 for Chandor in the 48th minute.
