Chandor down St Rock

MARGAO: Chandor Club came from behind to crush St Rock Youth Club 3-1 to cruise into the semi-final of South Goa Zilla Parishad Cup inter-village football tournament, organized by Parish Youth, Nuvem, at church ground, Nuvem, on Tuesday.

After a barren first session, St Rock broke the deadlock through Naveen Mendes but Chandor Club fought back as Stanely Hadangali neutralized.

Soon, Chandor Club raised the tempo and Moses D’Sa put them 2-1 ahead. Moses soon secured his brace with a clinical strike.
