Chandor Club defeated Navelim Villagers Union 6-4 via sudden death to move into the semi-finals of Sebastiao Rosario Dias memorial inter-village football tournament organised by Davorlim Sports Club at Zorivaddo ground, Davorlim on Thursday. The teams failed to score during the normal period.
In the penalty shoot out, Samir Cardozo, Sanford Cardozo,Wilson Fernandes, Vikas Dale and Milton Afonso converted for Navelim while John Fernandes, Ashwin Fernandes, Leo Menezes and Ashward Fernandes scored for Chandor.
