MARGAO: Union of Chinchinim Villagers thrashed Ambelim Sports Club 4-0 to qualify for the Salcete Zone play-off of GFA Under-14 League at SAG ground, Assolna.
Union of Chinchinim Villagers led 2-0 at the break.
The highlight of the day was a splendid brace by striker Cletus Pinto. Chedal Fernandes opened the scoring in the early minutes. Cletus doubled the lead midway.
After the break, Union of Chinchinim Villagers continued to dictate terms and Pixton Fernandes increased the tally. Cletus drove the last nail into rival coffin to complete his brace.
