PANJIM: Chinchinin Veterans moved into the semi-finals of All Goa Panjim Veterans football tournament defeating host Panjim Veterans via tie-breaker 4-3 in the quarter-final match played at Santa Cruz ground, on Sunday. There was no score at the full time.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Jerry Fernandes, Mahesh Lotlikar, Savio Broz and Yure Ferrao scored for Chinchinin Veterans while Benedict Fernandes, Raymond Alvares and Govind Palekar netted for Panjim Veterans.
Anjela Viegas was the chief guest and gave away the Man-of-the-Match award to Benedict Fernandes of Panjim Veterans.
