PANJIM: Chowgule Higher Secondary School, Margao trounced Damodar Higher Secondary School, Paroda 3-0 to emerge champs in the South District inter-higher secondary table-tennis tournament, at Fatorda multipurpose indoor hall, on Wednesday.
Chowgule will now meet St Xavier Higher Secondary School in the State final. In first match, Shubham Mengane easily outwitted Shubham Desai. In the second singles, Anang Mahato defeated Raj Singh while in the third game Navdeep Shirodkar easily defeated Cradon Gomes. The third place was bagged by GVM HSS, Ponda.
