PANJIM: Chris James and Nolma D’Souza won the Beginners Bow 8 mts in their respective categories Archery Festival organised by Zito Archery Academy for the students, Parents and for Senior citizens of all various ages, at Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim, recently.
Shlok Sinari and Christian D’Souza secured the second and third place in the boys Beginners Bow 8 mts while Disha Kunkalicar and Chloe Correia won the second and third place respectively in the girls Beginners Bow 8 mts.
The event was held in three categories namely National Bow (Bamboo Bow), Recurve bow (Bare Bow) and Recurve Bow (with sighter).
Francisco Martin, King of floats of Goa Carnival and Tony Dias, retired Deputy Commissioner of Goa Customs Department distributed the prizes to the winners of the Archery festival.
