Churchill sign Rafi

MARGAO, JUNE 8 Mahindra United after closing their shop saw their striker Mohammed Rafi signing for former I-League champions Musli Power Churchill Brothers. Rafi was among the top five goal scorers in the League this season with 14 goals to his credit.

Mahindra United after closing their shop saw their striker Mohammed Rafi signing for former I-League champions Musli Power Churchill Brothers.
Rafi was among the top five goal scorers in the League this season with 14 goals to his credit.
The Kerala striker said that he owed his success to English coach David Booth and pointed out that he had to perform well since he is a professional. “I have to score and as such I have a big burden on my head.”
“Thanks to coach David, I emerged as the top scorer among the local strikers.After playing as a midfielder, I was shifted to the front by the coach and the new role changed my career,” Rafi disclosed.
“I have chosen Churchill Bros since I will be close to my home in Kerala.”
