MARGAO: “The players are responding well to the new strategy as we are trying to plug the loopholes as Churchill Brothers Football Club face DSK Shivajians in a Hero I-League national football league match at Tilak Stadium, Vasco on Sunday at 4.35 p.m.
“We have analysed the past mistakes and the players have realised that they have to raise their game several notches higher in terms of superior understanding and coordination in the three departments,” remarked Dereck at the pre-match conference today. “It will be a re-energised team tomorrow with a somewhat different outlook,” pointed out Dereck.
“We expect a different performance from Churchill Brothers as Dereck aims to raise the performance of his team. Dereck has all the requisites to elevate his team’s performance with the vast experience he carries with him. Dereck has lots to offer and as such we expect the team to show much better output for which we are equally ready, for our motto is to win every game. Consequently, it will be a tough encounter,” remarked Shivajians coach Dave Rogers.
“We need a positive result tomorrow. We will be better organised, as we concentrated on achieving better coordination and understanding during the past week.
We have analysed our performances, we have taken corrective steps to plug the gaps be it in the defence or attacking formations,” stated Dereck at the pre-match conference today.
