Convincing wins for ONGC, AI and FCI 

PANJIM: ONGC, Food Corporation of India, Air India registered convincing victories in the ongoing ONGC AIPSSPB T-20 cricket tournament, played at different venues across Goa.

PANJIM: ONGC, Food Corporation of India, Air India registered convincing victories in the ongoing ONGC AIPSSPB T-20 cricket tournament, played at different venues across Goa.
In the first match played at Goa Cricket Association ground, Porvorim, ONGC beat New India Insurance by eight wickets.
Bating first, NII posted a total of 69 for the loss of 8 wickets with Rohit Yadav scoring 30 runs in 49 balls. His innings consisted of four 4s.
Vineet Kumar, Suhail Sharma and Mahipal Lumuro took 2 wickets each for ONGC.
In reply, ONGC chased down the target in the 13th over losing two wickets.
Prasanth Bhandari was the top scorer for ONGC scoring 30 runs in 27 balls which consisted of one 6 and two boundaries.
In the second match Air India beat Airports Authority of India by 39 runs.
Electing to bat first, AI scored 200 for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Aditya Kaushik was the top scorer for AI scoring 64 in 36 deliveries while Devyansh Saxena scored 56 runs in 38 balls which consisted of four 4s and four 6s.
Jitendra Fogat (2) was the top wicket-taker for AAI.
In reply AAI managed to score just 162 for the loss of 7 wickets. Ankit Dane (47) was the top scorer for AAI who fell short of a half century.
The bowlers Karan Dagar and Rajesh Sharma took 2 wickets each for Air India.
At MCC ground, Food Corporation of India clinched an eight-wicket win over Coal India Limited.
CIL posted 92 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs.  
Rahul Singh was the top scorer for CIL scoring 28 runs in 12 balls which consisted of two fours and two sixes.
The bowlers Shiva Singh and Umang Sharma took 2 wickets each for FCI.
FCI chased down the total of 92 for the loss of 2 wickets with 10 overs to spare.
Rajendra Bhist and Umang Sharma were the top scorers scoring 40 and 32*not out respectively. Rajendras knock consisted of five 4s and two 6s while Umangs knock consisted of three 4s and two 6s.  The bowlers Milon Nondi and Denash Yadav took 1 wicket each for CIL.
In the second match at the same venue, State Bank of Travancore , SBT beat MTNL by 9 wickets. Batting first, MTNL scored 83 runs in 20 overs.  The bowler Chandrashekhar impressed with the ball for SBT taking a total of 5 wickets.
SBT chased down the target in just five overs. Vishnu Vinod was the top scorer for SBT scoring 54* runs in 18 balls. Amit Singh was the only wicket taker for MTNL.
