Cross Road lift Fr Thomas Trophy
MARGAO (HC) — Cross Road (4th ward) beat United Boys of Vanelim 3-2 to emerge champs in Fr Thomas Fernandes memorial football tournament organised by Youth of 1st ward, Colva at DYSA ground, Colva on Saturday.
Cross Road were richer by Rs 10,000 while United Boys had to be content with Rs 7,000.
Benaulim MLA Mickky Pacheco was the chief guest. Faustina Fernandes, mother of late Fr Thomas Fernandes gave away the prizes.
