Both the teams were locked in a 0-0 score line at the halfway mark.
Post Resumption CSM Taleigo played an attacking stratergy and constantly troubled the rival defence and tested their prowess.
In the 65th minute CSM Taleigao won a corner kick which was taken by Anish who sent in a well measured ball to Shubham Betkikar.
Shubham made no mistake as he calmly headed the ball home to give his team the desired lead.
The score would have been a different one if it wasn’t for Dempo SC goalkeeper Rambhahdur who put up a mesmerising performance between the sticks.
Earlier in the semi-finals Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao defeated sporting Clube de Goa via the tie-breaker 3-1.
