CURTORIM: Cumborda defeated St Anthony 4-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Jose and Franky memorial inter-ward football tournament, played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Sunday.
Florian Fernandes opened the account for Cumborda in the 6th minute. Within two minutes, Welson Fernandes made it 2-0 for Cumborda. In the 15th minute Welson completed his brace. Makvil Fernandes scored the fourth just before the breather. Benny Cardozo pulled a goal back for St Anthony in the 4th minute.
