CURTORIM: Cumborda defeated Bhatti 3-1 to move into the semi-finals of the Jose and Franky memorial inter-ward football tournament played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
Myron Fernandes opened the account for Cumborda in the 20th minute. Within five minutes Meko Fernandes doubled the lead. Stevan Fernandes too added his name on the scoresheet to make it 3-0 in the 30th minute.
Mackroy Piexito pulled a goal back for Bhatti in the 26th minute.
