VIRABHAT-CURTORIM: Cumborda SC moved into next round after defeating Eclate FC 4-1 in the Jose and Franky Memorial football tournament, at St Alex church ground, Curtorim, on Friday.
Eclate scored the first goal through Nezly Hilario in the third minute.
It didn’t take long for Cumborda to equalise as within ten minutes Melvin Fernandes equalised for Cumborda SC with a penalty kick.
Cumborda scored second goal through Felito Fernandes in the 20th minute to make it 2-1.
In second half, Cumborda went out all guns blazing at Eclate and controlled the match by scoring two more goals through Myron Fernandes and Veron Fernandes in 40th and 45th minutes respectively.
Veron Fernandes of Cumborda SC was declared man-of-the-match.
