MURIDA- FATORDA: Cuncolim Union defeated Raia SC 3-2 and moved into the semi-finals of the Bro. Eulalio Vas memorial football tournament, at DBO ground, Murida-Fatorda on Thursday.
Cuncolim’s talisman, Daulat Dessai was the spectacle of the game with his precision passing, dribble and brilliant shooting.
Cuncolim’s Denvil Fernandes broke the dead-lock in the 25th minute. But three minutes later Melvin Gauncar equalised for Raia.
Cuncolim’s Daulat Desai doubled the lead in the 40th minute but was equalised by Raia’s Danny Fernandes five minutes later .
It was Sydroy Coutinho who netted the all-important goal for Cuncolim Union in the 60th minute.
