Cuncolim Union defeated Penha de Franca 2-0 to enter the quarter-finals of 17th Nerul Panchayat Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Nerul Sports Club at Nerul ground on Sunday.
Cuncolim shot into lead in the very first minute through Tyson D’Costa off Deepak Velip. Ryan Colaco doubled the lead for Cuncolim off a Nilesh Velip free kick.
