rnCuncolim Union were stretched to the limit on their way to a 5-2 tie-breaker win over Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda  and an entry into the semi-finals of Chinchinim  Deussua  Panchayat Cup inter-village football organised by CRCC at church ground, Chinchinim on Thursday. The teams were tied 2-2 at full time, after a scoreless first half.
rnCuncolim Union came back strongly in the second half with their forwards raiding the rival citadel. Their persistent forays paid dividends when Jermomio Fernandes slotted past the rival goalkeeper after he picked up a through pass from Mahesh Gaonkar.
rnOratory regrouped quickly and took the fight to the rival camp and were rewarded when Ashley Araujo bulged the net.
rnCuncolim Union regained the lead as Deepak Velip beat the Oratory goalkeeper.
rnHowever, Oratory struck the equalizer through Nana Borkar who converted a spot kick.
rnIn the tie-breaker, Deepak Velip, Edwin Fernandes and N.Velip converted for Cuncolim Union while none could convert for Oratory.
rnEarlier,  Olwin Antao, Sarpanch of Chinchinim, the chief guest declared the tournament open . Charlton Pereira of  Oratory was declared man-of-the match .
