PANJIM: Cuncolim Union moved into semi-finals of the SAG Cup, organised by Santa Cruz Club of Cavelossim, played at Fr Drustan and Wellington ground, Cavelossim, on Tuesday.
In the 25th minute, a fine cross by Rayman to Vishal, whose powerful header was brilliantly saved by Cuncolim defender Raguvir off the goalline.
Both the teams failed to score in the regulation time. In the tie-breaker, Edrin, Bharat, Rosario and Sangam scored for Cuncolim, while Bersal Viegas scored for Areal.
