RAIA: In the match played between two nearby neighbours, Cuncolim Union pipped Sao Jose de Areal 2-1 in the Goa Football Association Division I League match played at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Sunday.
Cuncolim Union opened the scoreline through Arun Shankar Naik in the 12th minute.
As the match progressed, in the 21st minute, Cuncolim Union further inflated the lead through Dadapeer Patil.
Crossing over, Sao Jose de Areal pulled a goal back through Regan Costa in the 82nd minute. They tried hard for the winning goals but in vain.
