Cuncolim Union qualify for semi-finals

Cuncolim Union booked their berth in the semi-finals of 3rd Pio Jose Gouveia Memorial Cup All-Goa Football Tournament organized by Colvale Youth Club beating St. Augustias Sports Club Pomburpa 2-0 at Colvale Church grounds on Saturday. Cuncolim dominated the match right from the kick-off.
The teams fought tooth and nail, and were locked goalless at the breather.
After the crossover, striker Melwyn Fernandes opened the lead for Cuncolim in the 45th minute and Deepak Veli rounded off the tally in the 60th minute with a 25-yarder long ranger.
