RAIA: Cuncolim Union defeated Fr Agnelo YSC, 5-4, via the tie-breaker and moved into the final of the President Cup 2023, held at SAG ground, Assolna, on Friday.
The first half saw both teams creating numerous chances, but the back of the net remained elusive.
The real action unfolded in the second half, with Clifton Fernandes of Fr Agnelo YSC breaking the deadlock at the 46th minute. However, the tables turned swiftly as Jonathan Fernandes from Cuncolim Union responded with a spectacular goal just two minutes later, leveling the score with a banger.
In the tie-breaker Cuncolim Union proved to be better shooters.
