QUEPEM:Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School, Cuncolim won the Zone IV Higher Secondary School, Tennikoit Boys Championship, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Sports Complex Borimol, Quepem.
In the boys final, Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School defeated Damodar Higher Secondary School, Guddi, Paroda. 2-0. Shree Mallikarjun Higher Secondary School of Science, Canacona bagged the third place defeating Government Higher Secondary School, Canacona, 2-1.
In the boys final, Abdul Shaikh of Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School, Cuncolim defeated Master Sanket Velip of Damodar Higher Secondary School, 21-09, 21-15. In the 2nd Singles Master Altaf Navaloor of Cuncolim United Higher Secondary School, Cuncolim defeated Master Zakir Pirjade of Damodar Higher Secondary School, 21-12, 21-10.
A total of 07 teams took part in the competition. The winners and runners-up team will represent Zone IV at the inter-zone competition to be held at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda on September 4 form 9.30 am. onwards.
