MARGAO: Cuncolim Veterans prevailed over Navelim Veterans 7-6 via the tie-breaker to march into the quarter-finals of all-Goa Chinchinim Veterans Cup football tournament organised by Chinchinim Veterans at church ground, Chinchinim, Thursday. They were tied 3-3 at full time.

Vijay D’Souza scored a brace for Cuncolim with Ulhas Gaonkar being the other scorer. Mariano Mascarenhas, Inacio Fernandes and Salvador were the goal getters for Navelim.

Cuncolim Veterans had the last laugh in the tie-breaker.
