MURIDA-FATORDA: Curtorim Veterans blanked Bardez Veterans 2-0 to move into the final of the Fatorda Veterans football tournament, at Don Bosco ground, Murida-Fatorda, on Wednesday.
Both the teams displayed good football with moves upfront but both teams strikers missed chances to score in the first half.
Post-resumption, Curtorim opened their account in the 35th minute off a free-kick taken by Mario Pereira which curled into the Bardez net giving the goalkeeper no chance.
Two minutes later, Curtorim doubled the lead through Johnson Noronha’s solo placement shot.
Curtorim Veterans will now meet the winner of Fatorda Veterans and Rachol Veterans in the final on June 2.
