RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Peddem Bomm SC 3-0 to enter the finals of 50th Custodio memorial inter-village football tournament at Raia Panchayat ground, Sunday.
Peddem Bomm had an opportunity to take the lead but Sagun Shirodkar missed the target when he had only the goalkeeper to beat.
Milagres Fernandes of Curtorim missed two scoring chances in the first session. Curtorim Gymkhana dominated the second session and scored three goals. First Afileo Fernandes opened the scoring with a header. Later, he doubled the lead off a pass from Milagres Fernandes.
James Fernandes made issue more safe for Curtorim Gymkhana scoring the third goal. Afileo Fernandes was adjudged man-of-the match and the award was presented by Fr Ronny.
