CHANDOR: Curtorim Gymkhana prevailed over CRC Chinchinim 6-4 via the tie-breaker to enter into the quarter-finals of Chandor Seamen inter-village football organised by Chandor SC, at Chandor ground, on Saturday.
After a barren first half, both teams scored a goal each in the second half. Curtorim drew the first blood through Milagres Fernandes in the 45th minute but 10 minutes later Chinchinim drew level through Joyson Fernandes. In the ensuing tie-breaker, Curtorim Gymkhana scored through Joshley, Savio, Allen, Johnson and Alison. For CRC Chinchinim, Kidon, Tristan and Jonathan were on target.
