FATORDA: Curtorim Gymkhana trounced United Club of Benaulim 4-0 to march into the quarter-finals of All Goa Bro Eulalio Vas memorial inter-village football tournament organised by Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, at Don Bosco Oratory ground, on Sunday.

Curtorim Gymkhana dominated the game right from the word go and broke the deadlock in the fifth minute.
Spurred by the lead, Curtorim Gymkhana piled on the pressure and trouble d the rival defence with well orchestrated raids. Alliston Fernandes doubled the lead with a snap shot. Down by 0-2, United Club of Benaulim upped the ante and Osbourne Fernandes reduced the deficit in the 11th minute .
Crossing over, Curtorim Gymkhana enjoyed the share of exchanges and pushed their opponents on the back foot. Jelleston Fernandes put the issue beyond doubt soon after resumption.
Milagres Fernandes fired the last nail into the rival’s coffin late in the second half to record his brace.
