PANJIM: Guirdolim Club will be organise their 42nd All-Goa Cycle Race for men on January 1 at 8.30 a.m. The race will begin from Guirdolim Club and will wind its way through Macasana, Curtorim, Maina, Chowgule College and will return back via Maina, Curtorim, Agxem and back to Guirdolim Club. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first five places besides other prizes. A special prize will be awarded to the 1st from Chandor- Guirdolim area. B’ton, handball selection trials
PANJIM: The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs will be organise selection trials to select the State school badminton U-14, 17 & 19 girls team at the Indoor Hall, SAG, Campal, Panjim from 9 a.m. and handball under-19 boys teams at the Open Sports Complex, Fatorda, Salcete, from 3 p.m. Both the trials will be held on December 27.
Players may report with proper playing kit alongwith the following documents: I-Card, 4 copies of photograph, copies of last years marksheet and copies of birth certificate.
Eligibility: U-14 years boys & girls born on or after 01.01.2000 studying up to Std VIII; U-17 years boys & girls born on or after 01.01.1997 studying up to Std X and U-19 years boys & girls born on or after 01.01.1995 studying up to Std XII.
