RAIA: Dados Boys delivered a spectacular performance to thrash Benaulim Veterans 4-0 to march ahead in the inter-ward football tournament organised by the Abuja Boys at the Vaddie ground, Benaulim, on Monday.
The game saw Samuel open the scoring, followed by Junaid’s clinical finish to double the lead. At half-time, Dados Boys were comfortably ahead with a 2-0 lead.
The second half continued in the same vein, with Preton adding his name to the scorer’s sheet before Kari sealed the win with a superb goal. Preton’s all-round performance earned him the man-of-the-match award, as he dazzled both on the attack and in midfield.
In another match, hosts Abuja Boys outclassed Cana Dynamites 2-0 to move into next round. Vishal broke the deadlock in the 15th minute, sending the home supporters into frenzy.
Keegan then doubled the lead in the 35th minute with a brilliant strike, ensuring the victory for Abuja Boys. Keegan was presented with the man-of-the-match award by Nicholas Rodrigues.
