CURTORIM: Damdolem got the better of Rumba 5-4 via the tie-breaker to enter final of the 2nd All Curtorim inter-ward football tournament organised by Cumborda Sports Club, at Curtorim ground, on Friday.
Rumba had their first chance in the third minute through Meliston’s superb free-kick which was saved by Damdollem goalkeeper Agnelo.
Five minutes later, Josepaul missed an open chance which was created off Arjun’s pass from the flank.
In the second half, both teams showed more aggression. Jeliston scored for Damdolem off a superb header in 25th minute.
Josepaul equalised for Rumba at 36th minute with fine header.
In the penalty shoot-out, Vicky, Anthony, Freddy, Ryan and Vincy scored for Damdollem while Josepaul, Arjun, Milagres and Clifton scored for Rumba.
Damdollem will now meet Cumborda in the final on Sunday.
