CORJEM-CURTORIM: Damdolem SC blanked Cumborda SC 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Corjem Youth Club inter-ward soccer, organised by Corjem Youth Club, at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Friday.
Cumborda’s Sunny missed the first best chance of the match in the second minute.
Later, Damdolem SC opened the score-line through John Fernandes in the third minute with a right footed shot.
Twelve minutes later, Damdolem doubled the lead through Micheal Cardozo’s placement shot.
Sunny defended well and was awarded the man-of-the-match award.
Damodolem SC will now meet Agxem in the quarter-finals on November 22.
