DULER MAPUSA: Damodar HSS of Gudi dominated the full match and defeated Fr Agnel HSS of Pilar to emerge champions in the Nehru Cup U-17 boys hockey tournament played at Peddem Sports Complex ground, Mapusa.
By virtue of this championship, Damodar HSS will now represent the state in the All India U-17 boys Nehru cup Hockey tournament to be held in New Delhi.

The team will leave for Delhi on August 31.
In the final, they beat Fr Agnel HSS 4-0 after leading 2-0 at the breather.
The highlight of the final match was a brilliant hat-trick by Jaffar Momin Shah. Krish Gaonkar scored the other goal for Damodar HSS.
