MARGAO: Damodar High School, Madgaon recorded a big win by 337 runs against Navelichya Rosary Te High School in U-16 Salcete Regional Cricket Tournament, organised by Goa Cricket Association,at the Margao ground, on Friday.
Damodar High School the toss and elected to bat, scoring 187 runs in 112 balls with 32 fours and 1 six. Also, Vignesh (75), Aditya Hegde (37) and Arjun Naik (15) runs scored 406 runs in 45 overs for 4 wickets.
Faizal Syed of Rosary High School took 2 wickets, Rahul Tari and Faizan Shaikh took one wicket each.
In reply, Punit Naik (5), Rohan Mane (2), Omkar Naik and Saishan Gaonkar (1) picked up the wickets for Damodar High School the as Rosary High School team bundle out for 69 runs in just 24.1 overs. In this, Faizal Shaikh scored 20 runs while Tari and Armaan Shaikh scored 7 runs each and Aryan Thorat scored 6 runs.
