MARGAO: Damodar Vidyalaya HS, Margao, and Bhatikar Model HS made to the semi-finals of the 20th Mukund Trikannad inter school U-16 cricket tournament played at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Stadium ground, on Wednesday.
In the first match, Damodar VEHS defeated Mushtifund HS by 42 runs while Bhatikar Model easily outwitted Rosary HS of Cujira by 10 wickets.
Score in brief: Damodar VEHS, 163-7 in 25 overs (Ashu Kashyap 39, Vishal Chawan 37. Jai Narvekar 2-25) beat Mushtifund HS, 121 in 22.4 overs (Eheet Agrekar 80. Nisarg Nagvekar 4-15, Omkar Naik 2-25).
Rosary HS, Cujira, 65 in 21.3 overs (Rudra Gadekar 19, Yash Kasvankar 3-11, Om Naik 3-14) lost to Bhatikar Model School, 68-0 in 4.4 overs ( Vignesh Chowgule 20*, Ansh Kule 16*).
