PANJIM: Sporting Club of Davorlim edged past Social and Cultural Club of Lotoulim 7-6 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of 15th All-Goa inter-village football tournament organized by Immaculate Conception Sports Club at Avedem panchayat ground, Avedem-Paroda. The teams were locked 1-1 at full time.
Lotoulim began offensively and surged ahead in the 20th minute through Hilario Fernandes.
After resumption, Davorlim tried hard in search of the equalizer and leveled the scoring with fifteen minutes to go through Rosfon Miranda.
In the tie-breaker, Jose, Bonny, Melvin, Sachin Rosfon and Summy Viegas were on target for Davorlim while Joslon, Mark, Royce, Hagen and Sylvester converted for Lotoulim.
Pax of Nagoa will take on Mandopa SC in the quarter-finals on April 10.
