The host despite the support of the local crowd were unable to find the rhythm. Sporting Club of Davorlim were more aggressive and deservingly went ahead in the 18th minute through midfielder Agnelo Colaco, who got a fine pass from Andrew Colaco to beat Benaulim goalkeeper Herbard Rodrigues with a neat finish.
