VARCA: Davorlim Veterans edged past Nuvem Veterans 3-2 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 1st All Goa Late Clement Veterans football tournament organised by Youth of Fatrade, at Varca ground, on Saturday.
Both the teams mounted a lot of pressure to score but all their efforts went in vain.
Both teams were goalless at the end of regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Selvy , Inacio and Bento scored for Davorlim while Milagres and Remmy netted for Nuvem.
Milagres Fernandes of Nuvem was adjudged the man-of-the-match.
