DANDO-COLVA: SC Davorlim registered a solitary goal win over Navelim Villagers Union to enter into the final of the Super soccer inter-village football tournament organised by United Boys of Dando Colva, at St John de Baptista ground, Benaulim, on Tuesday.
In the fifth minute a set piece from Davorlim’s Agnelo Colaco to Micky Furtado and at once Micky connected to Joel Colaco who took an arrow bound shot which kissed the Navelim goalpost and travelled safely into the Navelim net.
Navelim tried to equalise but the well-knitted defence line of Davorlim prevented the Navelim strikers from scoring any goal.
SC Davorlim will now meet Parish Youth Nuvem in the final.
