PANJIM: Goa’s Dayne and Katya Coelho took full advantage of home conditions to take both the guns on Day One of Sail Goa Zonal Sailing Championship off Dona Paula, on Thursday.
Dayne, clawing his way to the top in the IQfoil Mens National Ranking beat India’s top ranked Jerome Kumar and Saurabh Kumar of AYN who will surely turn on their ace game in the coming races.
Katya Coelho of GYA raced ahead of her closest rival Ishwariya Ganesh in the IQfoil women’s category stamping her authority.
