RAIA: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda downed Goa Velha SC 4-1 to move to the semi-finals of the Festival Cup 2023, organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club, at Betalbatim panchayat ground, on Wednesday.
Weldley Barretto of Don Bosco netted the first goal of the match in the 25th minute. Reshabh Karapurkar netted a brace for Fatorda in the 59th and 56th minutes off the chances created by Mario Noronha.
Michael Dias made it 4-0 for Don Bosco in the 67th minute. Goa Velha’s Joseph Rodrigues managed to reduce the margin after scoring from the spot in the 60th minute to make it 1-4.
