CUNCOLIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda came back strongly to defeat Chandor Sports Club 2-1 to enter in the quarter-finals of the Rising Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Rising Club of Sanvorcotta, at Cuncolim School ground, on Saturday.
Sunny Fernandes beat the DBO goalkeeper Karol Soares to give lead to Chandor Sports Club in the 17th minute off a pass from Kerry Vaz.
With inclusion of Veteran Francis Andrade in the second session, Don Bosco Oratory played some attacking football and scored two goals.
Edgar Noronha equalised in the 38th minute capitalising off a cross from Francis Andrade.
The later scored the match winner in the 45th minute off a through ball received from Joel Colaco. DBO keeper Karol Soares who had good match was adjudged man-of-the-match.
