PER-SERAULIM: Navelim Veterans got the better of Candolim Veterans 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Flame of Unity Veterans, at Mabai Per-Seraulim ground, on Saturday.
Navelim’s Basil Dias netted a hat-trick in the 5th, 20th and 43rd minute while Salvador Miranda added his name on the scoresheet to make it 4-0 for Navelim. Candolim netted through Shankat Palyenkar’s brace in the 55th and 74th minute.
