CURTORIM: Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda edged past Sao Jose de Areal by 2-1 to lift the 10th Wilred Leisure trophy organised by Wilred Leisure SC, Curtorim, at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Sunday.
Areal took the lead through Bersel Viegas in the 15th minute. Don Bosco equalised though Crasten Araujo in the 23rd minute. Crasten Araujo scored again for Don Bosco in the 44th minute.
The winners were awarded Rs 35,000 plus rolling trophy while the runners-up Rs 25,000 plus trophy.
Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, MLA of Curtorim constituency was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to winners and runners-up in the presence of Arnald D’Costa GFA Executive, Diniz Sardinha, Fr Joseph Salema and other dignitaries.
