PANJIM: Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda scored a thumping 8-0 win over United Club of Telaulim in the GFA U-16 League played at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda, on Tuesday.
Apeet Gosavi and Absolon Soares scored a brace each for the winners.
In a one sided affair, Don Bosco Oratory didn’t waste any time in raiding the opposition citadel and were successful in breaking the deadlock in the 10th minute through Apeet Gosavi.
UC Telaulim players looked unorganised in their approach and were punished for their game plan when Rahul Sharma netted the second in the 23rd minute.
Minutes later, Apeet scored his brace before Absalon Soares got his name on the scoresheet with a beautiful strike.
The winners led 4-0 at the breather.
Changing ends, Apeet made way for substitute Eliseus Niasso. Don Bosco scored the fifth through Brian Pinto before Absalon scored his brace in the 50th minute.
In the final five minutes of the game Jovilino Rodrigues and Eliseus scored a goal each to take the final goals’ tally to 8-0 in favour of Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda.
