RAIA: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda set a date for title clash with Guardian Angel SC, Curchorem of 6th Martin’s Cup 23-24, organised by Betalbatim Sports Club and played at panchayat ground, Betalbatim, on Sunday, by defeating host Betalbatim Sports Club 2-1.
Don Bosco Oratory scored the first goal in 3rd minutes of the game through Myron Fernandes but their joy shortlisted as Betalbatim forward Oliver was brought down in danger area in the 6th minute and refree awarded penalty kick which was well converted by Oliver D’Souza and till half time the score read 1-1 draw.
Don Bosco Oratory scored the winning goal in the 60th minutes of the game through power full left footer from Francisco Andrade which took them to the finals to be played on the feast day of Our Lady of Remedios, January 21.
Francisco Andrade of Don Bosco Fatorda received man-of-the-match award from Antony Pango, GFA vice-president.
