SIRLIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda, trounced Goan Warriors FC Tivim 5-0 in 24th All-Goa 8-a-side inter-village football tournament at Chinchinim Church ground. They led 3-0 at half time.
The goal scorers for Fatorda were Clive Miranda (10th,30th), Clencio Pinto (29th), Richie Vaz (45th), Hanslum Furtado (55th).
Fatorda played a well orchestrated game with timely passes and good positional play. The Tivim lads appeared a disjointed lot.
Clencio Pinto did most of the spadework for the Fatorda lads upfront and also got on the scoresheet. He scored his first when he tapped in off a goalmouth melee. Clencio netted Fatorda’s second and created the third for Clive.
Richie Vaz netted Fatorda’s fourth on the 45th minute and Hanslum Furtado rounded off the rally in the 55th minute.
Referee Raja cautioned Sunil Dessai of Tivim.
