SANGUEM: Goa scored 170 for the loss of 3 wickets against Rajashtan on the first day of the four day U-23 Col C K Nayudu cricket tournament match played at Sanguem Cricket Academy ground, Sanguem.
The match was started late due to wet outfield and later it was stopped for bad light. Only 55 overs play was possible on the first day. Rajasthan won the toss and put host Goa to bat. Goa started their inning in a promising note with openers Rajat Shet and Prathmesh Gawas registered 81 runs stand for the first wicket. Both the openers fell with the span of 3 runs with score reading 84 for 2.
Suyash Prabhudesai (32 runs) and Vaibhav Govenkar (not out 36) added 59 runs for the third wicket. At the draw of stumps – skipper Achit Shigwan was batting on 13. For Rajasthan – S K Sharma took two wickets for Goa.
