PANJIM: Both Goan teams – Dempo and FC Goa – suffered defeats in the Second Division I-League matches on Friday.

FC Goa were beaten 0-2 by Ambernath United Atlanta at Cooperage, Mumbai.
Both goals came in the second half through Nishant Shetty in the 58th minute and captain Himanshu Patil in the 94th minute.
Dempo lost to ARA FC 1-2 at Shahibaug Police Stadium, after leading in the 21st minute through Necio Fernandes.
Naro Hari Shrestha equalised in the 48th and Manvir Singh scored the match-winner in the 79th.
Manvir was declared player-of-the match
