PANJIM: Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar and Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao, emerged men’s and women’s champions respectively at Goa University’s inter-college swimming Championship at SAG pool, Campal, here.
In all, 10 events were conducted.
Aryan Sharma of Dhempe and Tanisha Murgod of St Xavier’s College, Mapusa, were declared best swimmers in men’s and women’s events respectively.
Overall championship: Men – Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar -1; Agnel Institute of Technology and Design, Assagao -2.
Second runner-up: (joint winners) St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa and Goa College of Pharmacy, Panjim
